THE ART

For you tarot fans out there, this piece is an anlog for the star card. After the annihilation that comes with the Tower, and as the construct of self that could no longer contain who we need to become burns away, we turn away from the destruction to see a single star in the night sky. It is a small silvery light, but I think that hope often starts quietly.

In the wake of our former self we have the opportunity to build a life and a container for being that is wholly new and brilliant. Our path may take us through the dark night at first, but we have the star and the seed of who we want to become to guide us.

This piece is a celebration of the way that even after annihilation we can choose better, more beautiful, and more loving ways to occupy ourselves and our lives.
